The Splog Project is a collaborative database of Splogs. We are helping to keep the web safe from splog!

What is a splog?
A splog is a combination of spam and a blog. Splogs usually contain gibberish or are only designed to show ads or pornography.

How does the Splog Project help?
The Splog Project collects URL's of known splog sites, these sites are then entered into our database. Once a splog is in our database it can be filtered out of other sites by using an API which is a plugin for 3rd parties to our database.

How can I help?
The API is not yet available for implementation, but check back often as we will be releasing the API free for use in your own site. The Splog Project API will allow you to filter out any Splog entries that are submitted to your site.

Running the servers necessary to keep The Splog Project up does cost quite a bit of money, so if you would like to support us in our effort to clean up the internet you may donate below.
